CitationMonsignor Ceratti Prelate of the Order of St Stephen at Florence, and Provisor General of the University of Pisa & Councellor of State to the Great Duke of Tuscany, is desirous of being elected a Member of this Honourable Society: He is a Gentleman of great and universal learning, and of the most distinguish't merit; particularly well versed in most parts of Philosophical and Natural knowledge, and a great encourager of it in his University; We therefore recommend him as a Candidate being perswaded he will every way be a usefull member & an Honour to the Society.
