We whose names are under written do, on the knowledge we have of his general character for Learning and merit, hereby propose him as a candidate for election into the Royal Society, and recommend him as a Gentleman of known Skill in mathematical and Philosophical knowledge, every way worthy of being a member of the Society, and like to be a usefull correspondent of the Same
