An English Gentleman but now residing at Paris, Author of a Book containing several very curious Microscopical and other Observations, and to whom we have been obliged for Several valuable communications; is very desirous of the honour of being elected into this Royal Society.
Upon which we whose names are under written do hereby propose him to the Society, and upon our personal knowledge recommend him to the Same, as every way deserving the honour he requests, by his Learning and Candor, as well as by his diligence in the promotion of Philosophical and Natural knowledge, whereby he cannot fail of being a usefull member and correspondent of this our Body.
