CitationMonsr Herrisant Doctor of Physic and Member of the Royal Academy of Sciences of Paris, desiring to offer himself a Candidate for admission into this Royal Society, We do hereby accordingly propose him, and as well upon our regard for his known reputation, as upon the warmest recommendation of our very worthy brother Monsieur de Reaumur, assure the Society that he is a Gentleman of great merit, of the greatest skill in Anatomy to which he long applied himself under Mr Winslow, and in the comparative part of which he has made great improvements, & that he is every way well qualified to be a valuable member of any Society purposely founded like this for the improvement of Natural knowledge.
