Citation | We certify that John Mervin Nooth, of Bond Street Doctor in Physic has cultivated several branches of natural knowledge with great diligence and with equal success: and we recommend him, on personal acquaintance, as a Gentleman, whom we judge likely to become an useful Member of the Royal Society, and truly worthy of the honour, which he desires Dr Nooth is Author of an ingenious paper, lately communicated to the Royal Society, in which he points out an improvement in the construction of the elecritcal machine, by means whereof a copious excitation may be produced in any state of the atmosphere |
