| Citation | Captain Henry Kater, of Hendon, Middlesex, author of a Paper on Reflecting Telescopes, which has been published in the Philosophical Transactions, and of several other subsequent communications to the Royal Society, a gentleman well acquainted with different veanches of mathematical and physical science, being desirous of becoming a Fellow of the Royal Society, we recommend him, from our personal knowledge, as highly deserving of the honour which he solicits, and likely to become an active and useful member of the Society |
