Distinguished for his acquaintance with the sciences of Meteorology & Natural History - also for his labours on the Ozone test. Eminent as the Founder of the Highfield house & Beeston Observatories, and as a person actively employed for more than twenty years as a Meteorologist & devoting his life to the pursuit of science.
