Author of among other published works, the following: - 'Text-book of Morbid Histology,' London, 1892; 'Handbook of Pathological Anatomy,' Liverpool, 1895; 'Geotropism in Bacterium Zopfii' (Proc Roy Soc, 1893); 'Madura Disease' (ibid, 1893, and Phil Trans); 'Paths of Degeneration in Brain and Spinal Cord' (Phil Trans, 1895); 'Decussating Tracts of the Mid-Brain and Bulb' (ibid, 1897); 'Observationson the Physiology and Degeneration of the Brain of the Bird' (with Dr Warrington) (ibid, 1899); 'The Histology and Bacteriology of the Oyster' (with Prof Herdman) (Brit Assoc Reports, 1897, 1898, &c, &c).
