Many of these are published under the names of students, but all the work was Prof Donnan's in suggestion and supervision. Prof Donnan translated into German and edited Mayow's 'Tactatus Quinque' for the 'Klassiker der Exakten Wissenschaften,' and wrote the article on 'Kupfer und seine Verbindungen' for Abegg's Handbuch der Anorganischen Chemie.
