Author of the following papers: - 'Report of British Association Committee on Point Discharge' (1891, 1892); 'Velocity of Electricity in Electric Wind' (BA Report, 1898); 'Velocity and Mass of Ions in Electric Wind' (Phil Mag,1899); 'Specific Velocity of Ions from Points' (ibid, 1901); 'Changes of Pressure in Hydrogen during Point Discharge' (ibid, 1908); 'Pressure of the Electric Wind in Hydrogen containing traces of Oxygen' (ibid, 1910); 'Forces at the Surface of a Needle Point Discharging in Air; Ionizing Processes at a Point Discharging in Air' (ibid, 1910); 'A Magnetic Potentiometer' (ibid, 1887); 'Electrolytic Theory of Dielectrics' (ibid, 1893); 'A Sensitive Manometer' (included in a Paper by Stanton) (Proc Inst CE, 1903-1904), and other papers.
