Mr Parsons is distinguished as an Ophthalmic Surgeon, and as the author of a standard work on 'The Pathology of the Eye,' of an important book on 'Colour Vision,' and of several other books on allied topics. He has done much research into the physiology and pathology of the eye and in physiological optics, and has published many papers reporting these researches.
