CitationCarried out researches jointly (with L Hill) 'On Compressed Air Sickness'; (with J Lewkewitsch) 'On Hydrolysis of Fats'; (with W Bulloch) 'On Chemical Constitution of Tubercle Bacillus, &c.' Has since carried out a long series of researches, particularly on 'Experimental Glycosuria and Diabetes,' and published many papers on these subjects including 'Diabetes, its Pathological Physiology' (Arnold, 1913); and has by these researches very considerably advanced knowledge on these subjects. He has gained the reputation among his colleagues of being an excellent teacher, a man of very high ideals, and a splendid researcher.
