Subjects - Optical activity; chemical dynamics, especially of catalysis (Zeit Phys Chem, 1898), (Swedish Academy, 1899), (Berichte, 1902), (Chem Soc, 1901-1907); electrochemical preparation of disulphides and diselenides; rapid electro-analysis of brass (Faraday Soc, 1906-1907; Chem Ind, 1909 and 1910). Disproved Werner's Six-membered Ring Theory of Metal-ammonia Complexes by Introduction of Sulphonyldiacetic Residue into Complex (Chem Soc, 1915). In 1917 placed in charge at RN Experimental Station, Stratford, E. The great importance of his confidential war-work is known to the signatories.
