TitleJefferson, Sir Geoffrey: certificate of election to the Royal Society
DescriptionCitation typed
CitationHas been a dominating formative influence in the development of modern neurosurgery. His original contributions to the study of the complex symptomatology of injuries of the brain and spinal cord have been conspicuously marked by observational accuracy and detail, and by a high level of analytic power in examination of the physiological disorders occurring, not only in injuries but in new growths and other disorders of the brain. From this theoretical aspect of his work have flowed importance (sic) advances in the principles and methods of neuro-surgical practice, more particularly in the treatment of brain injuries.
