T.S.s "Queen Mary" and "Queen Elizabeth" and many other large mercantile and naval vessels. Has been engaged for over 20 years in experimental work in model testing tank in connection with investigation of speed and power for determination of optimum hull forms and selection of propeller dimensions. Has also carried out original investigational work in launching, rolling and steering of ships in addition to study of behaviour and resistance in waves, particularly in regard to large vessels for North Atlantic service.
