CitationS.W. WOOLRIDGE has built up a body of sound knowledge concerning the geomorphological geography of southeastern England in general and of the London Basin in particular. His work has included studies of structural evolution, denudation-chronology and drainage development, with a masterly exposition of features of the London Basin resulting from glacial interference.
He has further done notable original work on the evolution of human settlement of southeast of England, especially concerning the Anglo Saxon period, combining field study with examination of documents.
A selected bibliography is sent herewith.
