Citation | Prof. Clare P. Grey is a recognized world leader in the use of solid state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) to study structure and function in inorganic materials. She has pioneered a wide range of novel NMR approaches, and combined these methods with many other structural characterization tools to understand the detailed mechanism of existing materials and thereby to direct the design of new ones. She collaborates actively with several UK-based research groups, and her work has significantly impacted a number of important fields, including catalysis, environmental chemistry, energy storage and energy conversion. |
