Citation | Alex Kacelnik is an international leader of the field of decision making and cognitive processes in animals. His work blends theoretical and experimental approaches from animal behaviour, psychology and economics. He is distinguished for his work on risk perception in animals, where he has developed a new theoretical framework, Scalar Utility Theory, which can account for a wide range of experimental data.
