Description | Davys discusses various flints which he has found, and sends three pieces to the Royal Society. He also sends a piece of cleaving 'plaister'. He also asks if the Royal Society could send some money so that he could finish the stocking-making machine. He discusses other machines he has invented - a moveable kiln, engine for bleaching linen Read to the Royal Society on 27 March 1695 |
