DescriptionImagines it was them who combined with the McIntoshs to send a telegram in July - saw them at the Memorial Service but did not get to speak to them - was in Australia when her father (Dale) died, he had been ill for four weeks only having been in great form up until then and she and her husband had hoped that his condition would stabilise and Dale did not want them to alter their plans - thankful that Dale was spared further suffering - his mind was active but his body was weak - sorry for delay in thanking them for their message of sympathy - summarises trip to Australia, gives news of Renee Eccles - has heard that Brown and Feldberg are to write Dale's Biographical Memoir - has not begun to sort through his papers but hope to make a start in the vacation - Dale's secretary is sending her a typescript of her father's memoirs - gives news of her daughter Helen.
