Has read Sir John Herschel's letter to the Prince and Her Majesty and the Prince will trust Herschel's authority to appoint [Robert] Hunt's son [Robert Hunt Jr, 1834-1854] to Christs Hospital. The selection is entirely made on the merit of Hunt's case and as an opportunity to promote the interests of science in Cornwall.
