Mentionson part of a former wrapper pasted on the index that "13 copies sent by [Robert] Sabine Esq, Aug 12th 1876 together with the originals. The copies revised by [Isabella Herschel] & the originals returned".
Robert Sabine (-d. 1884) was Wheatstone's son-in-law.
