DescriptionMr Croone produced the vipers, and the Operator the fresh hazel sticks: wherewith the experiment was tried and found faulty.

Mr Croone and Mr Vermuyden took upon them to try the Experiment of tormenting with the sympathetick powder: and the Amanuensis is to try the like with common Vitriol.

A fountain bottle to be provided without a pipe going to the bottom, and a syringe.

Lord Brouncker's experiments of recoiling were read to the Company by Mr Rooke, and the piece presented the Society.

Public thancks to be given to Lord Brouncker for his present and for his pains of writing his experiment of recoiling, and he is also asked to proceed farther in his experimentsl and Ordered that this account be registered in Vol 7, fol 143

The Amanuensis produced the nipped bubbles - according to order: and trial being made, they did not sink by compression of the water.

Mr Rooke read his paper of the Satellites of Jupiter, and thanks returned to him with a request to publish it.

Mr Boyle made his flat marble experiment and 42 lbs was taken up with it.
