Description'Report made to this honourable Company that Mr Evelyn one of their Number had done honour to this Company, before, in an Excellent panagyrick to the Kings Majesty, and ince in an 'epistle Dedicatorio' addressed to the Lord Chancellor, in which with much Eloquence and high expression of honour he mentions this Company and its designe, and most affectionately recommends it to the Kings Majesty and his Lordship: The Company were so sensible of the great favour done them by this worthy person, that at their last meeting they orderd these thancks to be given him, and to make them more Solemn, appointed further they should this be enter'd into their Journell Booke.'

Mr Powle promised to bring in a description of the place he spoke of where there was an Echo.

That Dr Goddard be pleased to continue the experiment of steeping the stones in water.

Mr Le Febvre, Mr Haak and Mr Hoskins subscribed their names.
