The Following Gentlemen had leave to be present viz.
Mr Smeathman by Dr Swinney
Mr Ellison by Dr Blanshard
Count Verri by the Chair [the Earl of Morton]
Mr Watson and Mr Witchell by Dr Morton
Mr Jewes and Mr Reid by Dr Maty
Mr Leece by Mr Morse
Reverend Mr Popham by the Reverend Mr Forster

The Minutes of the last meeting were read.

The following Persons were recommended for Election into the Society; viz John Parker Esq one of the Representatives for the Councty of Devon. The Reverend Mr Samuel Horseley LLB Rector of St Mary's NEwington; and William Jones of Loombard Street Esq: and the Certificates in their favour, repectively, were ordered to be fixed up in the Publick Meeting Room. Mr PArker's was signed Charles Carlisle, Jeeremy Milles, George Baker, Joshua Reynolds, Owen Salusbury Brereton and N Munckley; Mr Horseley's was signed MAtthew Raper, H Pemberton, J Ross, Joseph Colebrooke, John Lewis Petit, Charles Morton and James Burrow; and Mr James's was signed James Shprt, Robert Adam, William Harrison

Allan Pollock MD etc formerly recommended According to the Statute was Elected Fellow of the Society.
