Note in the hand of John Farey 'In a letter to the Carron Company dated 7 February 1782, he makes mention of a windmill axis and oil press that they had cast for him the year before the last. That would be 1780. See Printed Reports I.40, Atlas, or folio I.4v, page 5 above'
