DescriptionA plan of the river Clyde in the county of Clydesdale from Dumgarton to Rose Bank, laid down from a survey 1758 by James Barry, with a projection of the navigation by John Smeaton. R.W. Seale sculpt.

Inscribed in the hand of John Farey 'This appears to be explanatory of Mr Smeaton's Report 1755 although engraved for his next Report, 1758.

The large plan of the Clyde by James Barry, 1758, extends only from Dalmuir Burn to the Green of Glasgow.
