Description ' I cant omit troubling you with a dismal Account of a Colliery here taking fire last Wednesday, blowing up with as great a Report as Cannon or Thunder, and destroying in one moment three score and seven Souls. Three men were blown up from the bottom of the pit which is seven and fifty fathom deep, quite up into the Air and cast at a great distance from the Mouth of the Pit, one without a head, and another with his Bowels torn out, and all sorely disfigured the rest are not yet found. '
