DescriptionHas received his letterr of 3 December, and is endeavouring to set up a correspondence for him in Rome. Has found someone who might be suitable.

' .......The Posts from England by way of France are very uncertaine and tedious, which is the reason you have expected so long for an answer, so that M. Wherein I may serve3 the Illustrious Society, or your selfe in particular, be pleased to command. P.S.
The inclosed is from the Gentleman, that is ready to receive your commands, and who will communicate to you what passes here worth your notice. M. Nottle who is to receive and send the Letters for this correspondence, dwells near the harp in Queenstreet, allmost against Devonshire house, hee must be paid the francage of the Letters, when he receives any for you. You may be pleased to give him directions to send them to your lodgings.
Cassini is coming to be your neighbour, the King of France having obtained him of the Pope, and hee is going shortly for Paris. '
