DescriptionDaily observations, usually two or three readings each day at various times, and from twelve different locations. The volume begins in January 1726 with records from Lund [by Conrad Quensel], Svenacker, Trollhattan [by Torsten Vassenius]; Vissinge [by Magnus Oxelgren]; Risinge, near Norrkoping [by Sven Laurelius]; Bettna [by Andreas Geringius]; Stockholm [by Johan Backman]; Uppsala [by Eric Burman], Hudiksvall [by Olof Broman]; Harnosand [by Jacob Renmark]; Bygdea [by Johan Telin]; Lovanger [by Bernhardo Ask] and Tornea [by Abraham Fougt]. Some of these are incomplete: for example, observations from Lovanger cover 1 March-31 July only, while the Bygdea data covers 18 August-21 October. Columns for each location are presented together, on the observing days: with entries for dates and times. The information gathered varies between locations, typically barometer readings, wind direction and strength, and general weather notes. Some locations were equipped with thermometers.

Headed [p.1]: 'Observationes Meteorologicae in Svecia habitae An. 1728', with a list of the observers and some latitudes of locations. Also inscribed 'No.7'. With additional notes [p.50].
