Description | Tables of monthly meteorological observations, taken aboard HMS Alfred, at anchor off Montevideo, Uruguay, on the River Plate. Consisting of a main graphical representation of barometer and sympiesometer readings taken on each day of the months July-December. With supplemetary data from daily readings at 8.00am, 12.00 noon and 8.00pm, of temperature, direction and force of winds, state of the weather, set of tide, and depth of water in feet.
