TitleLetter from Ambassade de France a Londres, to the President of the Royal Society
Date10 November 1886
DescriptionInforms that a member of the marine museum's conservative institute has just celebrated under the title of "souvenirs de la marine", a work with plates, rejuvenating a certain number of naval constructions. Remarks the reconstruction of these models, most of which have long since disappeared, required laborious research, especially with regard to the merchant navy. The French government belives the work should be popularised both in France and abroad, and therefore sends three volumes composing of Admiral Paris's work.
