DescriptionSeeley has recieved no response from the Royal Society that his offer of some fossils he obtained in South Africa has been accepted, as well his request for a specimen 'of no value in this country' to be sent to the Intitute of Mines in St Petersburg which 'appears to have been misunderstood'. Refers to writing from Cape Town regarding insufficient funds, describes the £200 that was made available to Seeley to study the triassic reptiles of Russia and South Africa, and remarks on how and where he obtained the specimens in question.
