TitleLetter from William Crookes, 7 Kensington Park Gardens, London, to [Robert William Frederick] Harrison
CreatorCrookes; William (1832-1919); British chemist
Date5 December 1904
Description'Dear Mr Harrison, I have seen Mr Fox and think, with you, that his subject would make a very interesting 20 minute lantern demonstration. He is a good lecturer, and I remember being much struck with his demonstration at the Soiree on grain pressure. I return your envelope. It comes somewhat as a shock to find that my address is better known at the Post Office than to the Officials of the Royal Society! Believe me to remain, truly yours, William Crookes'.
