DescriptionGlazebrook sends a typescript copy of the conclusing passage of memorandum for Treasury: 'In view of these facts the Committee desire very earnestly to request that the Lords Commissioners of H.M. Treasury will carefully consider the work and organisation of the National Physical Laboratory with a view to laying down the lines that ought to be followed in the future and to placing the Laboratory in a position to do its National work and for this purpose will make the grants for capital expenditure and the increase in the grant in aid specified in the preceding Memorandum.'

Glazebrook has received the Sir [Francis] Hopwood and Lord Rayleigh's approval to modify the draft.
