TitleLetter from [Richard Tetley] Glazebrook, The National Physical Laboratory, Bushy House, Teddington, Middlesex, to Sir Archibald Geikie, The Royal Society, Burlington House
CreatorGlazebrook; Sir; Richard Tetley (1854-1935); British physicist
Date7 November 1906
Description'Dear Sir Archibald, Thanks very much for your letter of the 4th as to the stone. It would help us, I think, if, after you have seen it, you would kindly write me a note which I could put before the Magnetic Observatory Committee at their meeting on Tuesday next, and then, if they think right, send on to the Office of Works, to show them the character of the rock which has, unfortunately, been used. I trust this will not give you too much trouble. Yours very sincerely, R.T.Glazebrook'.
