| Description | 'My dear Treasurer, Mr.Mott has sent a further certificate for £3,000 for the buildings. there is at present about £2,500 in the Building Fund and £2,000 - the former anonymous donation - tied up in the General Fund as working Capital. We shall have at some date shortly to transfer this, and to face the difficulty it will cause of being at times overdrawn at the Bank; bu I take it that at present we had better apply to the Treasury for the £5,000 still due to us on the Building Fund Grant for the present year. The Grant was for £10,000, and of this £5,000 has been paid. If you approve, will you write to the Treasury. Yours truly, R.T.Glazebrook, Director.' |
