Description'Dear Sir:- In reply to your favour of 8th inst. we have pleasure in sending herewith a few specimens shewing [sic] our lithographic work, and trust that these will be up to your standard and will enable you to place the two Plates in our hands. If favoured with your order the Plates would have very care, and we think we would be able to to satisfy your requirements. We also return your figure herewith. We are, Dear Sir, Yours faithfully, McFarlane & Erskine'.
