TitleLetter from Arthur Schuster, Victoria Park, Manchester, to [Robert William Frederick] Harrison
CreatorSchuster; Sir; Arthur (1851-1934); British physicist
Date13 March 1906
Description'Dear Mr. Harrison, It was Professor W. Voigt who wrote to me about the portraits, which he would like to have for the new Physical Laboratory at Gottingen. If the Society would present them, they had better be addressed to him. I think Fitzgerald and Stokes are the ones that he would appreciate, and he also wrote specially about the portrait of Lord Rayleigh. If you have any to spare, I should very much like to have one of Fitzgerald for my laboratory here. Yours sincerely, Arthur Schuster'.
