DescriptionInforms he has received a grant from the Government Grant Committee in 1914 of £108 which was for special apparatus to be used in investigations on electric discharge. States it has been impossible to arrange delivery of the apparatus due to the war and woing to this not all the work can be carried out. Wishes, therefore, too apply to the Royal Society for sanction to apply the grant to work in progess on the scattering of light.
