DescriptionInforms that at a meeting comprising representatives of the Chemical Society, the Society of Chemical Industry, the Bio-Chemical Society, the Faraday Society, and the Society of the Public Analysts, to consider what action should be taken in order to secure a supply of paper for scientific journals, it was agreed to approach without delay the Paper Controller on behalf of all scientific Societies which publish journals. Requests to ascertain the tonnage required by the Royal Society in 1914 and 1917. Included is a "Suggested Letter to the Controller of Paper".
