DescriptionRegarding [Michael] Faraday's recent paper on the magnetization of light and the illumination of magnetic lines of force. Ross requests for it to be known that he made this discovery on his voyage [in the Arctic]. For this, he cites the narrative and appendix of the voyage as well as a House of Commons report from 1834 as proof.
