DescriptionRequesting Sabine to select the new magnetical instruments to be supplied to the Bombay [Mumbai] Observatory. Merivale forwards a list of the instruments and relevant information as to their cost and delivery requirements.
The back of the letter contains a draft response from Sabine, dated 31 January, agreeing to the selection process and assuring Merivale that he will let him know prior to their transport to Mumbai.
