DescriptionRegarding requests received by Carpenter from professors across the continent to obtain specimens of the eozoon fossil. Carpenter references a full catalogue of specimens he received from the Natural History Museum in Paris along with professors he has been in contact with. He applies for a £30 grant from the Donation Fund for Lapidary's research into the eozoon canadense as well as £10 to take multiple photographic copies of an enclosed photograph of Sir William Logan's specimen.
