DescriptionHad hoped to see Merton to report on his lunch with J S Wills, Chairman of Independent Television, and J M Whitlock and F W S Emery of Butterworths. Wills is keen on the idea of the presentation of science on television and will arrange a meeting with the 'programme people'. Whitlock asked if Merton would join such a meeting and Martin said he would approach Merton on this.
