Title | Copy letter from John David Griffith Davies to Edward James Salisbury, with enclosed copy letter from Robert Robinson to John David Griffith Davies |
Date | 9 January 1946 |
Description | Encloses a copy of a letter from the President in connection with applications for vivisection licences. Copy enclosure states Robinson thinks he must make it a rule that he will not sign applications such as this unless already approved by a biologist of some kind or other. When Sir William Bragg was President it was the custom for these applications to be vetted by the Biological Secretary [now Salisbury]. Queries if that rule might now apply.
Annotated in reply by Salisbury that he agrees to vetting applications. |
