TitleLetter from Thomas Ralph Merton to David Christie Martin, Stubbings House, Maidenhead Thicket
Date29 March 1954
DescriptionSuggests contacting Alfred Savill and Company for help [selling] the Cleveland property.

Discusses Burch's Patent. Notwithstanding Burch's allergy to the NRDC [National Research and Development Council], Merton thinks that they are the right people to handle the matter; but he assumes that it would be a good thing if the Chairman discussed he matter with Sir Henry Tizard.

Regarding Malcolm's Report, the action of the Westminster City Council is slightly disquietening, but Merton hardly thinks that they would attempt to prove that the Royal Society is not a Scientific Society.
