TitleCopy letter from David Christie Martin to Thomas Ralph Merton
Date1 October 1956
Description'Dear Sir Thomas,
Thanks you for your letter of 28 September.
I looked into the question of the Paul Committee investments and sent a copy of the Warren Deed to Sir Frank. He is consulting Eccles and the other Trustees of the National Provincial Banks about the matter.
The President is unable to be in town on 7 November and has suggested that the Antarctic party be transferred to 31 October.
We are declining the offer of the portrait of Charles Hatchett.
Yours sincerely,
DM'.
