Title | Letter from Sir Henry George Lyons to John David Griffith Davies, The Old Cottage, Shackleford |
Date | 4 October 1939 |
Description | Thanks Davies for the paper [sample], it is suitable. Discusses the use of the Scientific Relief Fund by foreigners. Has started a first rough draft of a R[oyal] S[ociety] history using his own notes and [Charles Richard] Weld's history. Though it will need to be re-written completely it will clear his own mind, show gaps in his materials and passes the time. |
