TitleMemorandum from John David Griffith Davies, to Sir Henry Thomas Tizard
Date8 October 1945
DescriptionNotes the enclosure of two letters, one from Dr W Hume-Rothery declaring fees earnt from additional Government work as required in the terms of his Warren Research Fellowship, and a letter from the Ministry of Education, inviting the Royal Society to send a representative to discuss matters relating to plans for an educational and cultural organisation of the United Nations.

Davies suggests that the question of fees earnt should be raised at the next Officers' meeting, with his personal view being that a limit should be fixed, and asks that the matter of sending a representative to the Ministry of Education be raised at Council.
